Poradnik: Kajdany.Tutorial: Shackles.

Przy okazji sklejania modeli niewolników do kompanii Harcowników klanu Skryre do Warheim FS postanowiłem zrobić krótki poradnik, w którym pokażę Wam jak szybko i tanio można zrobić kajdany.

While assembling slave minaitures for the Skaven warband from the Skryre clan for Warheim FS, I decided to make a short tutorial in which I will show you how quickly and cheaply you can make shackles.

Do zrobienia kajdan użyłem aluminiowej blaszki z tubki z kremu do golenia (ale możecie też wykorzystać opakowanie z mleka kondensowanego) i metalowego łańcuszka. Swój łańcuszek kupiłem na stronie sklepu Kromlech.eu ale z pewnością można też nabyć na portalach aukcyjnych. Narzędzia, których będziecie potrzebować to skalpel, oczkownik (ale można też użyć wykałaczki lub dowolnego innego walca o odpowiedniej średnicy) oraz pincety i kleju cyjanoakrylowego.

To make the shackles, I used an aluminum plate from a shaving cream tube (but you can also use a package of condensed milk) and a metal chain. I bought my chain on the Kromlech.eu store website, but you can certainly also buy it on auction websites. The tools you will need are a scalpel, an round nose pliers (but you can also use a toothpick or any other cylinder of appropriate diameter), tweezers and cyanoacrylate glue.

W pierwszym kroku wyciąłem z blaszki pasek o szerokości około 2 mm, który zakręciłem na oczkowniku i przyciąłem tak, by powstały okowy kajdan.

In the first step, I cut a strip about 2 mm wide from the plate, twisted it around the an round nose pliers and trimmed it to create shackles.

Okowy założyłem na przedramię niewolnika i przykleiłem klejem cyjanoakrylowym.

I placed the shackles on the slave's forearm and glued them with cyanoacrylate glue.

Następnie z pomocą pincety rozciągnąłem ogniwo łańcucha otwierając je docelowo na szerokość około 1-2 mm. Tak otwarte ogniwo wsunąłem na przyklejone do przedramienia okowy i skleiłem całość klejem cyjanoakrylowym, którego cienką warstwą pokryłem cały łańcuch usztywniając ogniwa.

Then, using tweezers, I stretched the chain link, opening it to a width of approximately 1-2 mm. I slid this open link onto the chains glued to the forearm and glued the whole thing with cyanoacrylate glue, a thin layer of which covered the entire chain, stiffening the links.

W ten sposób możecie zakuwać w kajdany dowolną ilość modeli. Jedynym warunkiem jest to, by model był tak zaprojektowany i sklejony, by dało się założyć kajdany na ręce lub nogi.

This way you can chain as many miniatures as you want.  The only condition is that the miniatures be designed and glued in such a way that it is possible to put shackles on the arms or legs.
