Dziś na łamach bloga DansE MacabrE zapraszam Was serdecznie do lektury recenzji modelu Dread Elf Oracle od Avatars of War. Model został zapakowany w blister, wewnątrz którego znalazły się trzy odlane w metalu elementów, a także dwie podstawki (kwadratowa i okrągła) oraz ulotka z informacjami od producenta. Jeśli nie chcecie bawić się w konwersje, to model Dread Elf Oracle możecie skleić w narzuconej przez producenta pozycji. Co prawda zdjęcia przedstawiające rzeźbę modelu sugerują alternatywę w postaci rozcapierzonej prawej dłoni, zamiast tej dzierżącej kostur hydry, ale w otrzymanym przeze mnie blistrze nie ma tego elementu. Swoją drogą ewentualna konwersja nie powinna być problemem. Jakość odlewu jest dobra, detale rzeźby są wyraźne, a krawędzie ostre. Jednak przed przystąpieniem do malowania należy usunąć linie podziału formy widoczne na obwodzie modelu. Sam model niemal nagiej Dread Elf Oracle prezentuje się bardzo dobrze, przepaska z łusek węża morskiego czy siedzące na lewym przedramieniu smocze to oczywiste nawiązania do Mrocznych Elfów do GW. Jeśli preferujecie metalowe modele lub posiadacie już plastikowy model Sorceress od GW i chcecie urozmaić swoją armię to minimalnie droższa, ale metalowa figurka Dread Elf Oracle od Avatars of War jest opcją, którą polecam rozważyć. Oprócz świetnego modelu, który został wyrzeźbiony przez Felixa Paniagua na uwagę zasługując podstawki, które fabrycznie zostały wyposażone w slot na magnes neodymowy, który znacznie ułatwia transportowanie figurek na przykład w walizkach od A-Case. Admittedly, the pictures depicting the sculpture of the model suggest an alternative in the form of a spread out right hand, instead of the wielding hydra staff, but in the blister that I received it does not have this element. By the way, any conversion should not be a problem. The quality of the cast is good, the details of the sculpture are clear and the edges are sharp. However, before you start painting, remove the dividing lines of the form visible on the perimeter of the model. The almost naked Oracle Dread Elf miniatures looks very good, the cloth with scales sea serpent or the dragon left forearm is an obvious reference to the Dark Elves to GW. If you prefer white metal miniatures or you already have a plastic Sorceress miniatures from GW and you want to diversify your army, it is a slightly more expensive, but the metal Dread Elf Oracle from Avatars of War is an option that I recommend to consider. In addition to the great model, which was sculpted by Felix Paniagua, deserves special attention stands, which were factory equipped with a neodymium magnet slot, which greatly facilitates the transport of figures, for example in suitcases from A-Case.
