Ramki z elementami niezbędnymi do złożenia pomostów, które były częścią większej, dobrze zabezpieczonej przesyłki, otrzymałem zapakowane w folię. Ponieważ produkt nie trafił jeszcze do sprzedaży, wewnątrz nie znalazłem firmowych ulotek z charakterystycznym dla Kromlech.eu kodem QR prowadzącym do pliku z instrukcją składania. Instrukcję otrzymałem osobno, w wersji cyfrowej, i wykorzystałem do złożenia pomostów, które możecie obejrzeć poniżej. Ramki występują w kilku grubościach – w zależności od rodzaju znajdujących się na nich elementów. Po zdjęciu opakowania niezwłocznie przystąpiłem do sklejania pomostów. Choć elementów jest sporo, czytelna instrukcja i dobrze spasowane części pozwoliły mi złożyć zestaw w około godzinę. Zestaw przedstawia trzy długie, sześć średnich i cztery krótkie moduły pomostów, a także trzy podesty, beczki i skrzynie. Z uwagi na materiał, z jakiego został wykonany, zestaw jest dość uproszczony, ale w zupełności wystarczający na potrzeby gier bitewnych. To ciekawy dodatek do każdej makiety rzeki, stawu czy portu – szczególnie jeśli cenicie modularność, szybkość montażu oraz klimat żeglarskich eskapad.

Today onI have a pre-release review of the fourth set in the series from Kromlech.eu – following Boats and Dinghies and Boats and Barges and Skiffs and Sailboats – this time: Jetties. The set is sold as a DIY kit, ready for self-assembly and painting. The sprues with components for assembling the jetties arrived sealed in plastic, as part of a larger, well-secured shipment. Since the product has not yet been released for sale, there were no printed leaflets inside with Kromlech.eu’s trademark QR code linking to the digital instruction manual. Instead, I received the instructions separately in digital format and used them to assemble the jetties you can see below. The sprues come in several thicknesses – depending on the type of elements they contain. After unboxing, I immediately got to work assembling the jetties. Although the set includes quite a few parts, the clear instructions and well-fitting components allowed me to complete the build in about one hour. The set includes three long, six medium and four short jetties modules, as well as three platforms, barrels and crates. Due to the nature of the material, the kit is relatively simplified – but more than adequate for the needs of tabletop wargaming. It’s a great addition to any river, pond, or harbor terrain – especially if you value modularity, ease of assembly, and the spirit of nautical adventures.
