Warsztat: Marienburg i Middenheim, cześć 22. Heraldyka.Workshop: Marienburgers and Middenheimer, part 22. Heraldy.

W publikowanych w niedzielę wpisach możecie śledzić rekrutację kompanii Piechoty Morskiej z Marienburga do Warheim FS, a w ramach przerwy w budowie modułowego stołu z ruinami Mordheim zacząłem malowanie swoich Marienburgczyków i Middenheimczyków dla Szczerego. I to właśnie te wpisy w kilka najbliższych czwartków będziecie mogli śledzić na blogu. Ostatnim elementem na figurkach Middenheimczyków, które przyszło mi malować, to heraldyka na sztandarach i na tarczy. Widoczne na poniższych zdjęciach wzory malowałem z głowy i całkiem spontanicznie, więc nie doszukujcie się tutaj żadnych nawiązań do prawdziwej czy fikcyjnej heraldyki. Miało być kontrastowo i unikatowo.

In the entries published on Sunday, you can follow the recruitment of a warband from Marienburg to Warheim FS, and as a break from building a modular table with the ruins of Mordheim, I started painting two warbands, my Marienburgers and Middenheimers for Szczery. And these are the entries you will be able to follow on the blog over the next few Thursdays. The last element on the Middenheimer miniatures that I had to paint was the heraldry on the banners and on the shield. I painted the patterns visible in the photos below from my head and quite spontaneously, so don't look for any references to real or fictional heraldry here. It was supposed to be contrasting and unique.

Warsztat: Fort Krasnoludów, część 4.Workshop: Dwarf Fort, part 4.

Budowa Fortu Krasnoludów, który będzie służył jako diorama dla kompanii Khazadów z Gór Krańca Świata do Warheim FS, powoli zbliża się do końca. Wczoraj pomalowałem krasnoludzkie tarcze od Scibor MM, które ozdobiłu mury fortu, teren przed schodami pokryłem ziemią do kwiatów zmieszaną z piaskiem i klejem Wikol i czarnym pigmentem do farb oraz zgodnie z przedstawionym poniżej krótkim poradnikiem przygotowałem dwa sztandary z podobizną Valayi Pamiętającej.

I slowly finish building the Dwarf Fort, it will be a diorama for a warbands of Dwarves Worlds Edge Mountains to the game Warheim FS. Yesterday I painted dwarven shields from Scibor MM, which I glued as decoration on the walls of the fort. On the square in front of the stairs I put garden soil, mixed with sand and glue Wikol and black pigment for paints and as I showed in a short tutorial published below, I made two banners with the image of Valaya, ancestor of the Dwarves.

Malowanie freehandów niezbyt dobrze mi wychodzi, dlatego podczas malowania chorągwi postanowiłem sobie trochę pomóc. Przygotowałem czarno-białą grafikę sztandarów w pliku w pdf, który następnie wydrukowałem na papierze. Po wydrukowaniu grafik, wyciąłem jeden ze sztandarów i przykleiłem go na taśmę malarską, która jest mocniejsza niż papier. Czarną farbą poprawiłem kontury run i wizerunku Vallayi Pamiętającej, a następnie korzystając z farb akrylowych pomalowałem proporce zgodnie z wybranymi kolorami. Po nałożeniu kolorów ubrudziłem sztandary tak, by wyglądały na stare i zniszczone. Do brudzenia użyłem kawy i herbaty, którymi wcześniej robiłem zacieki na murach Fortu Krasnoludów. Po zakończeniu malowania kadzidełkiem opaliłem krawędzie sztandarów, a czerwony proporzec przepaliłem na dwie części. Mocowanie chorągwi, czego nie sfotografowałem, wykonałem ze spinacza biurowego i starego łańcuszka, które pokryłem pigmentami i efektami rdzy. Gotowe sztandary możecie obejrzeć na zdjęciu.

I do not paint freehand well, therefore when I was painting banners with runes and Valaya, Dwarf Ancestor a little cheated. At the beginning I prepared a black-and-white graphics in the PDF file, which is then printed out. After printing graphics on paper, I cut one banner and glued it to the strip of masking tape, masking tape is stronger than paper.  In the next step, I corrected black paint outlines of runes and Valaya, Dwarf Ancestor, and then using acrylic paints painted banners according to the selected color. After painting I made banners old and destroyed. As the paint I used a few days of coffee and tea, which previously did stains on the walls of the Dwarf Fort. After I finished painting banners and paint dried, I used the incense which singed the edges of the banner, furthermore red banner burns into two separate parts. .   I did not show in the pictures as I did the shaft for the standard. Banners clamped over to the paperclip and the old chain. Then I painted rust on the binder and chain, I did this using pigments. Ready banners you can see in the picture below.

Muszę jeszcze pomalować ziemię przed schodami i ściany, na które nałożę pigmenty.

I still have to paint the ground in front of the stairs, and paint the walls with dry pigments.
