Warsztat: Gladiatorzy z Jałowej Krainy do Warheim FS.Workshop: Gladiators from the Wasteland for Warheim FS.

W jednym z poprzednich wpisów, który na łamach bloga DansE MacabrE znajdziecie TUTAJ, zaprezentowałem Wam modele Zielonoskórych od Greenminiatures, które skojarzyły mi się z gladiatorami i z których postanowiłem złożyć taką kompanię do Warheim FS. No ale co z pozostałymi modelami? Sięgnąłem po ramki z plastikowych zestawów Goblin Wolf Riders oraz Goblin Infantry i Orc Infantry do Oathmarka oraz Dwarf Seekers Regiment od Avatars of War i Arab Spearmen and Archers oraz Arab Light Cavalry and Horse Archers od Gripping Beast, z których złożyłem pozostałych widocznych na zdjęciach bohaterów i stronników. Ponadto, na zdjęciach możecie zobaczyć Ogra od GW, Niedźwiedziołaka (forma zwierzęca) od Unreleased Miniatures, a także rydwan złożony z elementów z zestawów Skeleton Cavalry and Chariots oraz Horses od Wargames Atlantic. Jak się okazało, figurki z wymienionych wyżej zestawów okazały się dużo bardziej uniwersalne niż przypuszczałem. Zestawy kupowałem głównie z myślą o złożeniu Jeźdźców Wilków oraz Kupieckiej karawany z Arabii, a udało się je wykorzystać także do złożenia Gladiatorów z Jałowej Krainy - choć może nie do końca w czysto człowieczej formie, a także w innych projektach. Tak czy inaczej, nie byłoby tej kompanii gdyby nie modele zielonoskórych od Greenminiatures, które świetnie wpasowały mi się w rolę gladiatorów, a wbrew pozorom takich sensownych modeli w skali 28 mm nie ma zbyt wiele. Modele możecie nabyć w czasie trwającej na Kickstarterze zbiórki.

In one of the previous entries, which you can find HERE, I presented you miniatures of Greenskins from Greenminiatures, which reminded me of gladiators and from which I decided to create such a company for Warheim FS. But what about the other miniatures? I used frames from plastic sets of Goblin Wolf Riders and Goblin Infantry and Orc Infantry for Oathmark, as well as Dwarf Seekers Regiment from Avatars of War and Arab Spearmen and Archers  and Arab Light Cavalry and Horse Archers from Gripping Beast, from which I built the remaining heroes visible in the photos and henchman. Additionally, in the photos you can see the Ogre from GW, the Werebear (animal form) from Unreleased Miniatures, and a chariot composed of elements from the Skeleton Cavalry and Chariots and Horses sets from Wargames Atlantic. As it turned out, the mianitures from the sets mentioned above turned out to be much more universal than I expected. I bought the kits mainly with the intention of assembling the Wolf Riders and the Merchant Caravan from Arabia, and I also managed to use them to assemble the Gladiators from Wastelands - although maybe not entirely in a purely human form, as well as in other projects. Anyway, this company wouldn't exist if it weren't for the greenskin models from Greenminiatures, which perfectly suited me to the role of gladiators, and contrary to appearances, there are not many such sensible models in 28 mm scale. Dziś na łamach bloga mam dla Was recenzję żywicznych modeli Zielonoskórych od Greenminiatures, które Wy możecie nabyć dzięki zorganizowanej na Kickstarterze kampanii. Modele do recenzji otrzymałem w solidnie zabezpieczonej paczce, wewnątrz której znalazły się widoczne na zdjęciu poniżej żywiczne odlewy wieloczęściowych modeli oraz dwa modele specjalne chorążego i czempiona/kapitana. Jak napisałem wcześniej, są to wieloczęściowe modele składające się z odlanych osobno nóg, korpusów, ramion, głów oraz dłoni z orężem i tarcz. Na zdjęciach poniżej możecie zobaczyć, że modele zostały odlane w kilku partiach w żywicy o różnych odcieniach i nieco różnią się między sobą jakością. Niektóre elementy posiadają ślady po pęcherzach powietrza, nie jest to jednak nic z czym nie poradziłaby by sobie masa modelarska, ale warto by producent zwrócił na to uwagę. Nie zauważyłem większych nadlewek czy śladów przesunięcia formy, a błony są łatwe do usunięcia szczoteczką do zębów, ogólnie wzory są bardzo fajnie zaprojektowane i przyjazne dla malarza, z tego co widzę, są to powielone w żywicy dobrej jakości wydruki 3D, a poszczególne elementy bardzo dobrze do siebie pasują. Na szczególną pochwałę zasługuje model chorążego. Kiedy wyciągałem figurki z paczki i zobaczyłem jak podzielony został model, pomyślałem super, pinowanie żywicy to coś co lubię. Okazało się jednak, że model został przemyślanie zaprojektowany i producent przygotował dłonie chorążego w ten sposób, że wkłada się w nie fragmenty drzewca, a górny element dodatkowo przyklejamy jeszcze do hełmu, więc mocowanie jest naprawdę solidne, zaś montaż łatwy. Jeśli przyjrzycie się bliżej żywicznym elementom, to zobaczycie, że korpusy odlane zostały w 3 wzorach, nogi w 6, podobnie mamy 6 kompletów ramion i 6 różnych głów, a także 6 tarcz. Z kolei broń ręczna to buława, młot i miecz oraz 3 różne włócznie. Elementy bardzo dobrze do siebie pasują, a ich ilość pozwala na złożenie wielu niepowtarzających się wzorów, jeśli i tego będzie Wam mało, to śmiało możecie mieszać bitsy choćby z plastikowymi elementami innych producentów w skali 28 mm, bo w takiej zostały odlane modele zielonoskórych. Figurki domyślnie dedykowane są do systemów bitewnych fantasy oraz osadzonych w uniwersum Władcy Pierścieni i wizualnie utrzymane są w stylistyce sprzed ekranizacji książki. Mnie figurki skojarzyły się z gladiatorami i właśnie w takiej roli postanowiłem użyć modeli w Warheim FS, co będziecie mogli dokładniej zobaczyć we wpisie, który ukaże się niebawem na blogu, a który znajdziecie TUTAJ. Today, on the DansE MacabrE blog, I have for you, dear readers, a review of resin miniatures of Greenskins from Greenminiatures, which you can purchase thanks to the Kickstarter campaign. I received the miniatures for review in a well-protected package, inside which there were resin casts of multi-part miniatures visible in the photo below and two special miniatures of an standard bearer and a champion/captain. As I wrote earlier, these are multi-part miniatures consisting of separately cast legs, torsos, arms, heads, hands with weapons and shields. In the photos below you can see that the miniatures were cast in several batches in resin of different shades and differ slightly in quality. Some elements have traces of air bubbles, but this is nothing that modeling clay cannot cope with, but it is worth the manufacturer paying attention to it. However, I did not notice any larger sprues or traces of mold displacement, and the membranes are easy to remove with a toothbrush, in general the patterns are very nicely designed and painter-friendly, from what I can see, they are good quality 3D prints duplicated in resin, and the individual elements fit together very well. The standard bearer miniatures deserves special praise. When I took the miniatures out of the package and saw how the model was divided, I thought great, resin pinning is something I like. However, it turned out that the miniatures was carefully designed and the manufacturer prepared the standard bearer's hands in such a way that fragments of the shaft are inserted into them, and the upper element is additionally glued to the helmet, so the attachment is really solid and assembly is easy. If you take a closer look at the resin elements, you will see that the bodies were cast in 3 patterns, the legs in 6, similarly we have 6 sets of arms and 6 different heads, as well as 6 shields. The hand weapons include a mace, a hammer, a sword, and 3 different spears. The elements fit together very well, and their number allows you to assemble many unique patterns, and if that is not enough for you, you can easily mix resin bits with plastic elements from other manufacturers of miniatures in the 28 mm scale, because in this scale greenskin miniatures were cast. The miniatures are, by default, dedicated to fantasy battle systems and those set in the Lord of the Rings universe, and are visually maintained in the style from before the book was adapted into a film. The miniatures reminded me of gladiators and this is exactly the role I decided to use the miniatures in Warheim FS, which you will be able to see in more detail in the entry that will appear soon on the blog, which can be found HERE.
