| Dziś na łamach bloga DansE MacabrE przygotowałem dla Was krótką recenzję modelu Alpha Sabertooth Tiger od Avatars of War. Wyrzeźbiony przez Raula Valiente model Szablozębnego otrzymałem zapakowany w przeźroczysty blister, w którym oprócz zabezpieczonego szarą gąbką podzielonego na części modelu znalazły się także podstawka o wymiarach 25 x 50 mm . Odlany z szarej, gumowatej żywicy model został podzielony na na 4 części, montaż części nie sprawił większych problemów, ale po sklejeniu model wymagał wypełnienie licznych szczelin masą modelarską. Jak wspomniałem wcześniej model została odlana z szarej, gumowanej żywicy. Plusem tego rozwiązania jest to, że model jest lekki i elastyczny, nie powinien się złamać nawet po upadku z wysokości. Natomiast do minusów należy obróbka tego tworzywa, wszelkie nadlewki wymagają ścięcia ostrym nożem, nie da się ich zdrapać. Jakość odlewu jest na dobrym poziomie, ale daleko mu do doskonałości. Widoczne są liczne nadlewki i linie podziału formy, a same części nie są do siebie najlepiej spasowane i wymagane jest użycie masy modelarskiej. Sculpted by Raul Valiente, I received the Alpha Sabertooth Tiger packaged in a transparent blister pack, which, in addition to the gray sponge-protected divided miniatures, included a 25 x 50 mm base. Cast in plastic-resin, the miniatures was divided into 4 parts, the assembly of the parts did not cause major problems, but after gluing the miniatures required filling numerous gaps with modeling compound. On the other hand, the disadvantages include the processing of this plastic, any lint needs to be cut with a sharp knife, it is impossible to scrape it off. The quality of the casting is at a good level, but it is far from perfect. Numerous overcasts and mold dividing lines are visible, and the parts themselves do not fit together very well and the use of modeling compound is required.
